Making payments online is easy, and the quickest way to get your money into your mortgage account. Just use our self service platform 'Manage my Mortgage'. You can find it in the NatWest app or Online Banking. If you haven't used them yet, here's some guidance (opens in a new window) on how to access them. It doesn't matter whether you have other NatWest accounts or just a mortgage.
If an App isn't for you, you can also use Manage your Mortgage (opens in a new window) where you can only see your mortgage account.
Whichever way you access 'Manage my Mortgage', the payment is usually applied within a few hours. You'll receive an email to confirm when your payment has been applied to your mortgage account.
Once you've logged in, select 'My payments and services' from the main menu, 'My payments' and then 'Make a payment'. Lump sum overpayment is the option you need.
If you're reducing your balance so that you can switch to a lower priced deal, you can make your overpayment just the day before your Branch or Telephone appointment with one of our Mortgage Advisers. If you're using our Online switching service then once you have received confirmation that your payment has been applied to your account, you're ready to switch.
