What is the criteria for becoming a Private customer?

NatWest Private is available to all customers who meet one of the following criteria:

  • Sole income of at least £100,000 or a joint income of £120,000 paid into their NatWest account;
    or
  • Minimum outstanding mortgage borrowings with us of £500,000; or
  • Savings and investments of at least £100,000 held with us.

What if I no longer meet the Private criteria?

If you no longer meet the Private criteria, we will offer you our personal banking service, open to all customers.

You will no longer have a Private Banking Manager, but you will have access to our branch staff who will be very happy to help.

Alternatively, you can use our telephony services, online and mobile banking.

Your account number and sort code, as well as any logins and passwords will remain the same.If you have a Black account you will still be able to use it as you do now, for £24 per month, or Reward Black for £28 per month.
