What are the situations where I will not get my money back under the Authorised Push Payments (APP) Code?

We'll consider each situation on a case by case basis under the Code. Under the Code, both you and the bank involved in the transaction need to exercise a level of care and meet Code standards.

We'll fully investigate each case to understand the circumstances and determine the level of care which each party displayed. Where anyone has not met this level of care, they'll have a liability for some or all of the loss.

If you're not protected under the Code, you will not be eligible.
