A returned payment fee is £10 (or £5 if you have a Reward Black card). The returned payment fee is applied to your account if payment from your direct debit or cheque has been rejected because of insufficient funds in the account you are making the payment from. 

The charge can be avoided by making sure there is enough money in the account you pay your credit card bill from.  It is also possible to change the due date for your credit card payment to a more convenient time in the month. If you would like to discuss this please contact us
