If your account becomes overdrawn and you have not arranged this with us beforehand or your account goes over any arranged overdraft limit, a monthly maintenance charge would apply.
For example, if you had a direct debit that took you over your agreed overdraft limit, you would be charged for each month you didn't have enough funds in your account to make the payment.
Fee amount - £20 per monthly charging period.
Please note for future reference the 'Maintenance Charge', 'Paid Referral Fee' and 'Guaranteed Card Payment Fee' have been replaced with a single daily fee called the 'Unarranged Overdraft Fee'.
