My card-reader screen is blank or won't turn on, what should I do?

If you are using the card-reader for the first time please make sure you have removed the clear plastic strip in order to activate the batteries.

The card-reader should turn on automatically when you insert your card. If this fails try pressing the ON/OFF button or reset the card-reader using the reset button on the back.

If you are still having problems with the card-reader, please order a new one.

To order a new card-reader:

  1. Log in to Online Banking at www.nwolb.com (opens in a new window)
  2. Select 'Security' from the menu
  3. In the 'Using a card-reader' section, select 'Order a card-reader'
  4. Select a reason from the drop down menu
  5. Select 'Confirm'
