As long as you follow the steps all the way through to the confirmation page when you cancel a scheduled payment using Online Banking then your payment will be cancelled.

However, if you wish to check that you have successfully cancelled a scheduled payment online:

  1. Log in to Online Banking at www.onlinebanking.natwest.com (opens in a new window)
  2. Select 'Payments & transfers' from the main menu
  3. In the 'Make a payment or transfer' section select 'Manage scheduled payments'

If the payment has been cancelled it will no longer be displayed in your scheduled payments list. If the payment has not been cancelled then it will still show in the list and an option to cancel the payment will be available.
