What do I need with me to complete the application for a new account?

Visit 'What you need to open your bank account (opens in a new window)' to find out about the documents that we’ll need to see to prove your identity.

You can key your application online whenever you’re ready and upload your documents at a time that’s convenient to you. Make sure to upload your documents before your application reaches the expiry date (the expiry date will be confirmed, once you’ve completed your application).

If you’ve been asked to upload your documents via our Security Partner DigiDocs, you can find further support on uploading your documents in the DigiDocs Guide (opens in a new window). Please allow 2 working days for your invite from DigiDocs to be received.
