I'm being asked for details that I do not normally use when logging into Online Banking

If you notice any major difference in the details that you are being asked for during login or should you have any reason to believe your accounts have been compromised online please contact us immediately on:

During the login process we will only ask you for

  1. Your 10 digit customer number which starts with your date of birth.
  2. 3 random digits from your four digit PIN.
  3. 3 random characters from your password.

We will NOT ask you

  1. To enter your full PIN.
  2. To enter your full password.
  3. For extra verification using your card-reader.
  4. For any credit card details.

At NatWest we will never ask our customers for any personal information by email. You should not respond to any email asking you to divulge your full PIN or password, we would only ever ask for random characters.
