What is a weekly balance alert?

The weekly balance alert can help you keep in touch with your account balance with a simple weekly reminder. You can choose to receive the alert on any day of the week in either the morning or afternoon.

If you choose to receive your alert during the morning we will capture your balance as it stands at around 6am. We will then send the balance alert to you at around 8am on weekdays or around 10am if it's a weekend.

If you select to receive the alert during the afternoon we will capture your balance as it stands at around 2pm. We will then send the balance alert to you at around 2pm on your chosen day.

The alert will be sent by text message to the mobile phone number that we have on our records. Dependent on network and whether your phone is on you will receive your balance during the time selected.

The easiest way to amend your alert preferences is in the 'Alerts' section of Online Banking. You can also manage your alerts using telephone banking or by visiting one of our branches.
