How do I switch a direct debit from one account to another?

Please have your Customer Number and PIN ready as this will enable your call to be answered faster and more securely. These are the same details you use to log in to Online Banking.

Once switched, the direct debits will show for the new account on Online Banking after the first payment has been taken.

To keep your accounts tidy and up to date, you can remove the original direct debits, which will show as 'Amended', by cancelling them.

When switching direct debits, only one payment is ever taken, and this will be in line with your new direct debit details.

To view your existing direct debits:

  1. Log in to your Online Banking service at www.nwolb.com (opens in a new window)
  2. Once logged in select 'Payments and transfers' from the left hand menu.
  3. Select 'Manage direct debits' from the 'Direct debits' section.
  4. This will take you to your existing direct debits where you can view and cancel them.
