Why has a cancelled direct debit been claimed from my account?

It is possible for a company to reinstate and then claim a cancelled direct debit. This is usually because they believe that they are still owed a payment.

If a cancelled direct debit has been claimed from your account then it is in scope for a recall (if same day) or an indemnity claim (any day in the past).
